What Your Website Says About You...

A website is your shopfront - the window that shows everyone how fantastic you are and
displays the great services you offer... The services your customers need!

Let's consider your website is "Online dating for your business"...

Which way will your customers swipe?

If your business doesn't look attractive and isn't informative then potential customers could just pass you by - It's a harsh world out there!

Think about it, what does your website really say about you? - Is it a swipe left or swipe right?

A new website looks fresh, awake and ready for business

Your website is a great opportunity for you to make a really professional first impression to those who don't know who you are. It brings customers to your door, with an understanding of what you're all about and wanting to do business with you!

Basically, if your business is not presented to the world at its very best, you can kiss goodbye to many customers that may well have got in touch, as they will simply "swipe left". We know that business is competitive and customers mostly act on how they feel, so they need to feel good when they see your business online.

I know of many businesses that struggle to create their own website and sometimes can't justify the spend. As a last resort they give in, with a tiny budget, simply to have an online presence... "That'll do, I'm on the web!", but will it do? Is it portraying you at your very best? Once they have the live site, what is it saying about them?

"That'll do" or "Look, I'm amazing, let's do business!"

They rarely update it; as it's possibly too complicated or expensive, or just outright scary. In fact, they are missing out, as there are so many benefits to a well presented, current website, with effective SEOs. You can really make your website work for you. A new website will be easier for you to manage and will bring more customers to your door.

The average life of a website is about 3-4 years, mostly because technology changes so quickly, your site can start look a little tired and clunky against the shiny news ones out there, that your competition may have. A tired, out-of-date website gives a poor impression and more than likely putting people off, and certainly not helping your business as much as it could. Have you ever clicked on a website and it says "not secure"? To your customers, this can imply that you're not current, or at worst, a bit dodgy! We know how important it is for our clients to trust us.

I recently created a brand new website for The Mane Show (an Equestrian on line show), in record time, 3 weeks, to be precise, as their provider was removing the web builder platform they used. The site was ancient, built in 2015, it was clunky and looked old and tired (they won't mind me saying!). It was an immense site with loads of pages and content, pictures, entries and results. It simply couldn't go off-line at all, as the shows run monthly and competitors are needing access. I worked day and night to achieve the deadline, but it was so worth it, as the site now looks modern and so much cleaner, and in my opinion outshines the other on line horse shows - Trot on! I am currently tasked with creating e-commerce pages for a more streamlined entry process, so watch this space.

I have realised that web design sits so perfectly around the services I offer my clients; and following the success of The Mane Show's site, I have decided to branch out and offer my web design services to those that are not just my business clients.

So I'm putting myself out there, offering websites to all...

I hope you swipe right!
